Holy wow! We haven’t done one of these in some time. Apparently 2016 has been one heck of a busy year! We promise we haven’t forgotten about our blogging life. That being said, here is our latest OUTINON.
Red-eye flights! The problem of having an evening event and an early morning flight now has a solution. In the form of the SleepBus. Currently, this handy dandy little service only runs between San Francisco and Los Angeles, but I doubt it will take long for the phenomenon to catch on all over the USA. Head over to Travel & Leisure and Tech Insider to learn more about this incredible service. Did I mention it’s $48 one-way?!
Gingham! This checkered pattern is everywhere for summer and I am a big fan. Find a way to incorporate gingham into your rotation this season — whether you rock this print to a festival, to brunch or to a summer party.

WINTER WINTER WINTER! It’s officially gone from Alberta. Things are green, trees are budding, and styles are changing. The first thing I celebrated with was whipping out all my summer sandals and threw all the socks to the pack of my mind. So here are my summer sandal picks.
The first sign of spring, I am usually found in the yard pulling out all our patio furniture WAY too early in hopes that it keeps the cool temperatures away. So this year, my husband and I invested in a propane fire pit/table, and we’ve used it nearly every night. Here are a couple for varying budgets.

What’s going ON
One of my favorite times of the year in St. Albert; the Rainmaker Rodeo! However, considering the long weekend weather in the Edmonton area and the amount of rain we received, I am hoping the Rainmaker doesn’t literally live out its name. Hopefully this year we can make it out to enjoy the sun and in true cowboy style.
This year, the concerts feature headliners George Canyon and Emerson Drive; with Black Jack Billy, Jason Benoit, Dungarees, Meghan Patrick, Bradley Tucker, and Lisa Nicole.
The deets for the general event, including rodeo, exhibitions, and rides (not including admission to the concert series):
- Where: St.Albert Kinsmen Grounds, 47 Riel Dr.
