Refresh || no. Nineteen

Seeing as I was spending Friday enjoying my weekend with friends, Falynn is taking a break today to finish enjoying her long weekend (lucky Candians!). Today I want to ReFresh your current restaurant rut!

Amber’s Monday ReFresh

In honor of Houston Restaurant Weeks, I have put together a list of some of my personal Houston favorites. From brunch to late night, I’ve got your back!

Tout Suite – nothing says brunch like the perfect Americano and a menu full of locally sourced and freshly prepared items.

El Pueblito – make sure to sit in the cabanas on their epic patio, order a fresh squeezed OJ mimosa and you’ll feel like you flew to Mexico for brunch!

Irma’s – homemade, authentic Mexican and outstanding service

Huynh – if you enjoy good Vietnamese, look no further. They are also open for dinner and it’s BYOB ($2/person corking fee).

Original Ninfa’s on Navigation – Best Margaritas. Best Fajitas.

Azuma – my favorite sushi spot in Houston!

Springbok – a high-end sports bar with South African food and expertly crafted cocktails.

Weights + Measures – this restaurant is the perfect spot for a first date or to meet up with a group of friends. They have a great wine list, unreal pizzas and the atmosphere is on point.

Oxheart – WARNING: this is a set menu, small venue, need a reso kind of place. It’s expensive, but so very worth it. Make sure to do the drink pairing with your meal.IMG_0922

Late Night

Moon Tower Inn – mouthwatering wild game hot dogs (with homemade pretzel buns), a beet burger to-die-for, and a million micro-brews on tap!

Ninja Ramen – What can I say, I am obsessed with ramen.

Happy Monday!
