Amber’s Monday Refresh
If you’re anything like me, you enjoy spending your weekends at the lake or pool. Would you like to make your weekends even better? Well I have the secret and it’s actually quite simple: novelty pool floats. I know you’ve been eyeing those food shaped floats in all your favorite Instagrammer’s photos. I’m here to tell you, you too can know the happiness that comes from getting your bronze on while lounging on a gigantic pizza slice or entwined in a life-sized pretzel. I have rounded up all of the best food and fowl floats and a couple of my favorite pool games so you can ReFresh your pool and lake game all in one place! I am the proud owner of a few of these myself and I have to say, they are worth the hype. Plus, at over 4 feet in width, they are the perfect size for communal floating.
You can buy the floating Flamingo Drink Holders here!
This Floating Beer Pong Table from Amazon.com, is the perfect addition to any pool party! And who doesn’t like giant hamburger and lollipop shaped beach balls??
Happy Monday and happy floating!
Falynn’s Monday Refresh
This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending one of my good friends Bachelorette Party in Calgary for the annual Calgary Stampede and Rodeo. After attending this, I realized I need to refresh my cowgirl attire, and in particular, my cowboy boots. My trusty Frye boots have given me years of use and are starting to look a little sad, so first off, I am taking them in to get their own refresh while I take the time to shop for the perfect second pair. So let the hunt begin!
I will admit it, I am a Frye addict. I have 4 pairs, and have gone through numerous others over the years. So this is my obvious first choice…
If I want to go more western and traditional, Ariat is where it’s at.
Another brand that is big emphasis on fashionable western wear is Corral Boots. Most of their boots are over the top, but are unique and well made!
Justin Boots are Amber’s go-to in the Houston heat and they are the perfect balance between classic and urban western wear.
Okay, I am a poor excuse of a wannabe cowgirl. I like the simple leather boots with as little bedazzlement and detail as possible; however, if I am going to make the investment, I want a pair I can wear in the city and the mud.
Help me decide; what do you guys think?
