Yes, we missed last week’s ReFresh… Sorry! It was a busy week for both of us. But we are back this week to annoy you with our weekly Monday ReFresh.

Amber’s Monday ReFresh

In honor of yesterday being the official start of summer, today’s ReFresh is going to refresh the way you refresh. Ok now that I’ve gotten that out of my system! I’m going to share with you a couple of alternative ways to rehydrate this summer. Nothing against good old water, but once and a while I need to change things up a bit in order to keep my 1000000oz of water per day game going strong. So here are a few of my absolute favorites!

Photo-1

Maple Water – maple water is an excellent way to rehydrate and the mildly sweet flavor makes it seem like more of a treat than anything. Mark is a huge fan of maple water and we always have a few cartons on hand!

Watermelon Water (aka WTRMLN WTR) – this delicious little beverage tastes exactly how you’d hope. It’s a newer trend in the world of flavored waters, but I think it’ll be around for quite some time.

Coconut Water – Coconut water has been around for more than a minute and has become a staple in our daily diet. I for one am not a huge fan of the flavor by itself so I add it to my morning veggie shake or hit it with a million lime and lemon wedges and a good amount of ice. If plain coconut water just isn’t for you, there are several variations ranging from plain coconut water with aloe vera juice to the more trendy “infused” versions like Espresso Coconut Water (mmmmmm!).

Happy hydrating!

Falynn’s Monday ReFresh

Well part of the reason I have been at tad MIA lately is because my husband and I have recently purchased a new house (YAY!) and this has been taking up most of my time. Now that our offer has been accepted and all conditions are lifted, we officially take possession end of July, and then the upgrades and renovations begin (double YAY)! So it is fair to assume that most of my content and posts will be décor, design, and moving relate; apologies in advance.

So I bet you can’t guess what today’s post is about… Refreshing my new house with PAINT!

If you’ve read any of my other design posts, its common knowledge that I looovee white everything, and that’s precisely what is going to happen to our new 1980’s home! Currently everything is Oak; the cabinets, floor, mantel, trim, doors, etc. Also, the walls are ether navy blue, sponge panited gold, hideously wallpapered, or some creamy form of yellow. But not for long.

So I am enlisting you, our readers, to give me your opinion on what color to paint.

Here’s what I am thinking…
