Last Monday of March = delicious salad dressing and a decadent eye cream (unrelated and not used together, don’t worry).
Amber’s Monday ReFresh!
This week, I’m headed to Arizona, which means bikinis, which means there is a lot of salads in my near future. I am a huge fan of making my own salad dressings; in fact, you will not find a single store bought dressing in my house! This means I’ve had to get creative. By playing around with different ingredients in my fridge and cupboards, I stumbled upon a dressing that has become a staple in my house and in high demand by my guests! So for everyone who’s been asking for the recipe and anyone looking at switching up their salad game, READ ON!
Dijon Dill Dressing
- 1/3 cup EVOO or Avocado Oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 2 tsp White Wine Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dill (or more if you’re obsessed with dill like I am)
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Honey or Coconut Sugar
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Whisk all the ingredients together until the oil is blended in. If the mixture seems too thick, add a touch more oil. If you don’t have a small whisk, a fork will totally work. I do however, STRONGLY recommend a Pampered Chef ‘Mini-Whipper’.
This dressing is best paired with a salad of mixed greens, topped with quinoa, feta or goat cheese, blackberries, sliced avocado, and sunflower seeds. I’ve also been known to put it on chicken, plain quinoa or even just use it as a vegetable dip.
Falynn’s Monday ReFresh!
Today’s Monday ReFresh is a literal refresh, but for your eyes!
I tend to go in waves of really good, then really bad morning/night face regime. I understand the importance of daily skin care, but I often find myself too eager to face plant my pillow, so I skip some important steps. However, I NEVER skip my eye cream!
I never thought I would depend on an eye cream so much, but my early morning tired eyes crave the moisture and the awakefulness of my Biotherm Skin-Best Eyes. The feeling most women get from taking their bra off at the end of a long day, well that is the feeling I get after taking my make up off and then putting my eye cream on; it’s heavenly.
I use it twice a day, morning and night, to get the full aids of its total Anti-Fatigue care, dark circle reducer, fine lines helper, and de-bagger. Also, it is paraben free and has added benefits of the ocean!
Soak it up!
