So I hear all you northerners are a wee bit sick of the cold? And I for one am sick of all the dreary rain days in Houston. This brings us to our first OUTINON Refresh! We’ll try our best to bring these to you on Mondays when everyone needs a little reason to smile (and shop).
How to beat the winter blues? Bring spring inside (even if it’s refusing to be outside). Freshen up your space with anything sporting a fun pineapple motif, perhaps a new throw rug, or a bit of greenery.
Of course I would recommend a new Voluspa candle (or two) in a spring-ish scent. A few minutes of burning those bad boys and you’ll be leaving the house in sandals. You absolutely can never go wrong with pops of gold and cowhide (I personally lean more towards large smatterings of both). Now go sip a margarita and pretend spring has sprung; you’ve earned it!
Trend alert! Greyscale, wood, and pastel pink! The black and grey adds elements of masculinity, paired with a airy pink feminine flare. How can you not love this? In interior decorator terms “industrial modernistic elegance”!
To make it even easier, this palette can be simply altered with any pastel color to suit all spaces. Maybe use this as inspiration for a nursery, bedroom, or even a bathroom; it seriously can work anywhere. Unlike the pineapple motif and a margarita, this perfectly suits a strong cup of coffee and this months Book Club selection.
